PRODUCTION STAGES AND PROCESSES
Of great importance is the production.
Every production processo or Production stage, from yarn preparation to weaving, finishing and packaging of all items is subjected to careful quality control to ensure its competitiveness in the commercial and economic field. This allows us to react quickly and go to your wishes. All the key steps and stages, from the design to the execution of a product are here described.
Before the weaving begins, we need to pass by the warping. For it we must do a previously technical analysis and then select different yarns from a wide range of colors and a wide range of materials and use them to carefully create the warps.
WARPING
The warp threads are prepared on a warp starting from the individual yarn spool. This is done by warping, wich is a rewinding of a large number of yarns. I tis a indispensable prerequisite for the next stage, the weaving.
WEAVING
Is the heart of our production – the weaving área, where a large and diversified number of looms allow us to operate in various sectors of the market. Here, many kilometers of elastic and non-elastic ribbons are woven every day on high-speed needle machines – in order to then receive the finishing touches in further work steps. The different types of weaving provide a multitude of different effects: double weave, twill, satin, jacquard, etc.
FINISHING
Finishing is an essential part of textile processing. The process used give the ribbon its special properties and functions, a better touch, and greater stability
PACKAGING
The finished pieces of the goods will be according to the customer’s wishes. Rolling up on spools, single rolls, wheels of 25, 50 or 100 meters, individual packaging or consumer packaging, we have it!
KNITTING
We can also produce knitted ribbons on electronic knitting machines. With this technology, CRUZ e MONTEIRO can produce tapes with larger widths and different behaviors.
BRAIDING
Textile braids are narrow fabrics obtained by the oblique interlacing of several threads made of cotton, polyester, polyamide, … (unlike ribbon, which is made by weaving parallel threads), guided by the spindles of the weaving loom.
PRINTING
By a network of cooperation partners, one of our services, is the printing and specific special finishes to our ribbons. We can add even the simplest ribbon, a cool design. We could offer a wide variety of printing processes such as screen printing, transfer printing and digital printing.
